Not your average babysitting & CPR Training - a Summer Camp!

2026 Babysitting Mastery Summer Camp for Teens

A 5-day Babysitting Training with Real-world Practice and a fun summer camp program - all in one!
Engaging summer experience and valuable hands-on practical knowledge in babysitting for Toronto youth ages 12 to 15
babysitting courses in Toronto downtown, standard 1-day certification clinics (like the Red Cross Coast2Coastlocation) merging into a 5-day babysitting training camp, alternative training, best developmental fit for many teens aged 12-15 because kids learn better socially than in an 8-hr certification grind.

Location: 918 Bathurst Centre (The Annex, Toronto) – Steps from Bathurst TTC & Christie Pits

2026 Camp Weeks:

  • Week 1: July 13 – July 17, 2026
  • Week 2: July 20 – July 24, 2026
  • Full-Day Specialized Certification Program
  • Cost: $540 + tax

Note: Limited spots available per week to maintain low camper-to-staff ratios. SAVE $35 of Registration Fee with a PROMO CODE FL35 if registered before June 1st

Turn leadership potential into real-world capability.

This program prepares responsible teens and tweens to confidently care for younger children, handle household emergencies, and run their own local babysitting businesses.

  • Child Care & Safety Foundations: Infant and toddler care basics, safe play, and critical conflict-resolution tools.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Basic first aid scenarios, home safety audits, and clear crisis communication guidelines.
  • The Business of Babysitting: Marketing templates, rate negotiation tips, and professional interview skills to land jobs in the Annex community.
  • Real-world Practice: As part of the Babysitting Mastery program, teens have the opportunity to take part in fully supervised, structured leadership sessions with younger campers within the same facility.

Babysitting Mastery summer program is a full standard CPR and safety certification, but also we focus on:

  • confidence-building
  • practical, hands-on babysitting and leadership
  • communication/business skills
  • camp-style learning

This may be the best developmental fit for many teens aged 12-15 because kids learn better socially than in an 8-hour certification grind.

Instead of optimizing for “official-looking CPR certificate” we offer parents alternative program that focuses also on:

  • confidence
  • emergency judgment
  • ability to stay calm
  • willingness to take initiative

At this age, those matter more.

At Kindraza we focus on becoming capable instead of being just trained.

Summer fun in between

The Babysitting Mastery program is built into a high-energy summer camp experience filled with fun outings, and hands-on activities, so teens don’t just learn, they actually love being there. It’s a chance to unplug, build real friendships, and grow confidence while having a genuinely great summer! No phones allowed!

The program is designed for both complete beginners and teens who already have some babysitting experience and want to improve their babysitting, confidence, and babysitting skills.

Real world application:

As part of the Babysitting Mastery program, teens have the opportunity to take part in fully supervised, structured leadership sessions with younger campers (ages 6–8) within the same facility.

These sessions are designed to help teens apply their babysitting and childcare training in a real environment, including:

  • Supporting children during creative and STEM activities
  • Practicing communication, patience, and guidance skills
  • Assisting in group settings under direct counsellor supervision
  • Observing and learning structured childcare dynamics in action

This is not independent babysitting — all interactions are carefully guided, supervised, and integrated into the camp structure.

The goal is to help teens build real confidence, responsibility, and situational awareness in a safe, supported setting.

This activity is great for real babysitting experience, leadership practice, and instant connections to local families with younger kids who need sitters.
